Connecting local Zakat to local need.
Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
As the CEO of the National Zakat Foundation (NZF), it is my honour to present our organisation to you. NZF is a globally recognised Islamic organisation dedicated to the responsible collection and equitable distribution of zakat and sadaqah funds within our local communities. Our mission is to ensure these vital resources reach eligible individuals and families, providing them with the support they need to navigate life’s challenges.
Since our establishment in New Zealand in 2022, we have been guided by the core principles of compassion, equity, and social justice. We aim to foster a society where every Muslim can access the resources necessary to thrive regardless of their background or circumstances. We believe no one should be left behind, and it is our duty to ensure that the distribution of wealth and support reflects these values.
Through NZF, we offer critical assistance in the form of financial services, focusing on essential needs. Our collaborative efforts with local service partners across New Zealand allow us to provide targeted support in key areas such as Health, Employment, Family, Education, Housing, Refugee Resettlement, and Advocacy. Together, we work to create a future where every individual is empowered to live with dignity and opportunity.
I invite you to join us on this journey of meaningful impact, as we continue to build a stronger, more just community for all.
JazakhAllah Khair
